I’m on a huge smoothie kick right now. I love playing around with different combinations of berries, citrus, vegetables, and juices.
Code Boyfriend thinks these smoothies are way too complicated. He’s more of a one fruit at a time kind of guy.
So, until I have selected a favorite crazy green smoothie to feature here, I’m going to share Code Boyfriend’s favorite.
I added oats to this smoothies to round it out as a breakfast. It also really makes it taste muffin-y. The oats also help keep Code Boyfriend full until lunch!
Blueberry Muffin Smoothie
- 1/2 Cup of Oats, we had quick cooking on hand
- 1/2 Cup of Frozen Blueberries
- 1/4 Cup of Greek Yogurt
- 6 or so Ice Cubes
- Juice, I used a splash of Orange Juice to thin out the consistency
Combine all ingredients in a blender.
Blend to combine.
Pour into a fancy glass, add a straw and be amazed at how much it tastes like a blueberry muffin!
